Breast cancer has changed over the past 30 years, and so have we.
On Mother’s Day, as part of our Race to Empower™ and Walk to Empower™ events held across the country, we formally announced that our new name is Breast Cancer Network of Strength™. This exciting change kicks off our 30th Anniversary year. While our name has changed, our mission remains the same -- to ensure, through information, empowerment and peer support, that no one faces breast cancer alone.

Thank you for an empowering Mother's Day!
Breast Cancer Network of Strength is pleased to announce that the 2008 Mother's Day Events welcomed over 50,000 participants with donations nearing $9 million -- and we are still counting! Very special thanks to those who participated and donated in this year's events.
This was DC's biggest and most successful Walk to Empower ever! We welcomed nearly 2,000 walkers and raised over $360,000 together to support our programs and services that are offered free of charge to anyone touched by breast cancer.
If you have participated or donated in the past, please log in.

Keep the Donations Coming!
Even though the deadline has passed to qualify for a fundraising prize, you can still turn in any outstanding donations you receive.
All walkers who qualified for an additonal prize will be receiving information by mail to redeem their prize. Keep an eye out for your letter!
Walk to Empower Sponsors
A very special thanks to the sponsors of Breast Cancer Network of Strength's Mother's Day Events. These companies play a lead role in our success and we are proud to recognize their commitment.
